He/she is responsible for maintaining a quiet and organized office area.He/she is responsible for all aspects of Financial Billing and Follow-up. Interacts with Resident and Resident Representative to answer questions regarding billing, prepares promissory notes and obtains signatures as needed, and follows up on delinquent billing by telephone and by letter. Works with Administrator and Attorney regarding failure to pay issues.Interacts with Medicare, Hospice and other insurance companies to ensuretimelypayment. This individual makes the Resident/Resident Representatives afirst priorityand has good customer relation skills in dealing with the public, with residents and employees.

• Mustbeahighschoolgraduate
• Musthavepriorexperiencewithbookkeeping functions.
• ExperiencewithMedicarePartAandBbillingpreferred.
• MustspeakandunderstandEnglish
• Musthaveagoodworkingknowledgeofgeneralofficepractices.
• Mustdisplayaprofessional,congenial,patient,tactful,enthusiasticandpositive attitude
• Mustbeproficientinoperationfaxmachines,copiers,multi-linetelephonesystem,personal computers and 10-key calculators.

Responsible for Collection activities on all private pay balances to include telephone calls,collectionletters/dischargenotices,promissorynotes,andattorneyreferrals/follow- up.
